Sunday’s Live Green Smoothie 85% Challenge Results – Day 9
Posted by: Angela Leeds In: *Live Green Smoothie 85% Challenge

Day 9 of my Live Green Smoothie 85% Challenge comprised of three all-raw meals, one 32 oz. blenderful of Live Green Smoothies, and a bit of non-raw snackage dispersed in between. The end-result is easily in the vicinity of 85%.
What I Ate
The Raw Stuff
- 2 bananas for brekkies
- LGS of spinach, 2 bananas and vanilla
- Savory Tomato-Banana Salad for lunch (by itself, no crunchy bits or chips with it)
- Greek-Style Mushroom-Fresh Corn Wraps for dinner (again, just by itself… very filling and wildly delicious & satisfying)
The Non-Raw Stuff
- Piece of Moroccan Sweet Bread from Starbucks.
- Long espresso with vanilla at some point in the day.
- A small dish of organic tortilla chips in the afternoon.
- A handful of Paul Newman’s organic Chocolate Sandwich cookies in the evening.
Cost
To yesterday’s accounting of $53.82, add another $9.06, making the running tally $62.88 for 9 days.
Exercise
One hour on the treadmill at the gym with all sorts of dance-physicality-training exercises. Had a good ole time. Have tons of energy to spare and my body is feeling better every day… yay.
Special Comments
Am pleased as punch. Appetite is leveling off.
Twice I felt a hankering for something “more substantial” (i.e…. “gee, the idea of a grilled cheese sandwich sure sounds appealing”) and just went with a great savory raw recipe which in the end, completely satisfied me.
That’s nice.
