Cantaloupe-Lime Live Green Smoothie Recipe

Refreshing, easy, quick, alkalizing, great for your skin… what are you waiting for?


This recipe is a snap. Make one blenderful with 1/2 of a cantaloupe, a second with the other 1/2, maybe adding some fresh berries for variation, and you’ll have your first two blenderfuls done for the day! They go down *sooooooo* easily, too.
Keep these in mind for when you see a sale on cantaloupe… especially the over-ripe ones. Perrrrfect!

Recipe for: Cantaloupe-Lime Live Green Smoothie Recipe
- 1/2 cantaloupe (I include the seeds and “goop” as well… my Blendtec blender completely smoothifies them)
- 2 cups fresh greens (not packed)
- juice from 1 lime
- spring water to 32 oz.
- 1-2 cups ice
Blend til smooth and drink!
As a variation, add a cup or so of fresh berries. Or, alternatively, if you have frozen berries on hand you can use them instead of the ice cubes!
The caveat being… frozen is never a substitute for fresh. But we know what real life can be like.
