Warm, Live Watermelon-Apple-Ginger Tea… One of my absolutely favorite warm raw smoothies!

Naturally sweet and robustly warming with a good heap of fresh ginger root, you can also had some fresh baby spinach or parsley to make this a warm Live Green smoothie-tea.
This is definitely one of my favorite Warm Live Teas. It’s unexpectedly creamy — something about the watermelon, I’ve observed, when you smoothify it. And there’s no sweetener other than fresh fruit in the blend — just watermelon, fresh apple, and ginger!
Wonderful. Especially if you’re throat, tummy, or sinuses aren’t up to snuff. Allergy season, you know… these Warm Live Teas have been helping my scratchy throat considerably.

Recipe for:Â Warm, Live Watermelon-Apple-Ginger Tea-
- 1 apple, cored
- 2 heaping cups chopped watermelon
- 1″ piece peeled fresh ginger root (this will make it strongly ginger-y… if you want less, use less)
- 1 cup spring water
- dash quality natural salt, such as Himalayan Crystal salt
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Then add to saucepan and warm up briefly until the liquid is very warm… but still comfortable to your bare skin. Pour into mug and enjoy.
