Made with all fresh, raw ingredients and bolstered in medicinal power and sweetness with raw honey, this Live Green Smoothie is gently heated up and served frothy and warm, as a tea.
No less potent in its green-smoothie-ness, it’s soothing for when you have a scratchy throat, feel under the weather, or just want a bit of extra Vitamin C. And this simple tea is loaded with chlorophyll, Vitamin C and other rejuvenating nutrients.

Recipe for:Â Warm Live-Green Apple-Lemon Tea
A Green Smoothie to Soothe a Sore Throat
- 1 apple, cored (peeled if not organic, or if your blender is weak)
- juice from 1/2 lemon (no pits)
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach or parsley
- 2 cups spring water
- 2 dashes quality natural salt, such a Himalaya Crystal salt
- 1-2 tablespoons raw honey
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Then add to saucepan and warm up briefly until the liquid is very warm… but still comfortable to your bare skin. Pour into mug and enjoy.
