Melon Mono-Smoothies: Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Watermelon…
Posted by: Angela Leeds In: *LGS Daily Recipe

The End of my Mono-Smoothie Recipe Series… For Now.
This is the last recipe I have planned in my current Mono-Smoothie series. I’ve really wanted to drill into my readers that you can whip up a smoothie from ingredients so simple, all you really need is ONE kind of fruit, or vegetable, or fresh greens.
Pair that one ingredient with some raw honey and spring water, and you’ve got a quick, simple, and INEXPENSIVE raw smoothie just filled with living enzymes, un-denatured nutrients, and vital life force!
With melons of all kinds, you don’t even need to add any raw honey because melons are by nature very sweet. Just crack open a melon, scoop out the flesh, add your water and ice, blend, and you’re good to go!
And Don’t Forget About Watermelon’s “Viagra Effect”…
Here I’ve made Mono-Smoothies using Cantaloupe and Honeydew, but you can make them from Crenshaw, Watermelon, Casaba, and any of the more exotic varieties. One thing to know about Watermelon Mono-Smoothies is that there is some evidence that drinking significant quantities can generate a “viagra” effect!
