For 2010: Restructuring of the Live Green Smoothie Diet Website and the Introduction of *Personal Development” To the Site
Posted by: Angela Leeds In: *Site News

To my readers, am giving you a heads-up that you will see a lot of activity on my site this week, as I am restructuring the way the site is set up.
Currently, I have multiple blogs installed on my one website: This LGS site, my “This Raw Life” blog, and my “Longevity and Peak Performance” blog, which I have plans to expand significantly this year. All of these websites are currently accessible via the portal of my Live Green Smoothie website, but they do not possess a unified search and categorization ability.
With the new year has come the intention to consolidate and intensify my creative and professional activities, so I’m starting with bringing all of my posts and articles from my other sites into the LGS site, and dismantling the handling of my blogs as separate entitities.
I will also be revising the Categories on my LGS site to enable the increase scope of articles to be easier to find, and I will be creating a new Home page to drive visitors to the parts of my site which they will find most personally useful.
The Addition of a Personal Development Topic and Category
As those closest to me know, I have been a passionate student and practitioner of “personal development” methods since around 4th grade; in truth, the quest for an understanding of how to use consciousness to heal, revitalize, evolve, and manifest has been the primary gist of my entire life, with the use of increasingly healthifying food being just one element of that overall quest.
I’ve read literally thousands of books on spirituality, consciousness, metaphysics, personal empowerment, manifestation, alternative healing, yoga, energy systems, responsible relationships, and optimal health. But more than that, I have always sought to move away as quickly as possible from theory and to apply these principles to change my life. When I’ve found a principle that persuaded me it had power, I have repeatedly leapt without a parachute in order to discover the truth of it in my life in the way that counts… real change.
I’ve used these principles to overcome profound sorrow and despair, abiding depression, the character defects of lying and theft, and a paralyzing, economically debilitating lack of self-worth. I’ve used them to heal from acute and chronic eating disorders, and to overcome chronic, painful, physically debilitating Lyme disease without the use of antibiotics. I also learned how to find peace in many dramas that entered my life which on the surface appeared to be insanely “unjust” or tragic (I’ve often likened those journeys to “Erin Brokovich On Steroids”… heh).
And as the darkness and struggle in my life over the years dissolved, I began to use these very same principles to create tremendous joy and creative vitality, no matter what the surface dynamics occurring in the events of my life. I used the principles of manifestation to create circumstances that went completely against the odds, including a successful, prosperous, technically oriented consulting career in the corporate world despite having no college degree.
I have an insanely joyful home life, and I live a frequency of joy and enthusiasm that I could only dream of earlier in my life. I have found that one can apply the principles of consciousness and deliberate creation to one’s life with results, and that if you do so courageously… amazing things can happen.
There is no topic more beloved to me than how to use the power of consciousness to purposefully create the lives we wish to experience.
I also realize that, when someone, anyone, embarks on a quest to “jack up the raw” and living foods in their diet, even if just to start adding a few Live Green Smoothies to their diet, that is a conscious act of personal development — that’s a statement of “I want more out of life… I want more out of my energy… I want more aliveness and fulfillment, and I think that eating these foods will help me!” And indeed they will.
And so, I’ve decided to “come out of the closet”, so-to-speak, with respect to my knowledge and continued passion for personal development, and will begin blogging about it through this site.
For those of you who found my LGS site with smoothies in mind… while you sip your latest LGS, starting this year you will also be able to peruse a host of posts and articles on how to use your increasingly enlivened body and mind to make practical changes in your life so it can be all that you wish it to be.
