The Quintessential Live Green Smoothie – “Liquid Sunshine”

This live green smoothie is great for beginners… made with mango, fresh orange juice, and either parsley or spinach, it is extremely mild and smooth in flavor, and can easily be made sweeter for more tentative taste buds.
It is the essence of “freshness”, and is great any time… right when you wake up, over ice on the road to work or the gym, and even as a refreshing nightcap.
Mango-Orange “Liquid Sunshine” Live Green Smoothie Recipe
- 2 ripe mangos (over-ripe mangos work well in this recipe…)
- juice from 1-2 oranges
- 1 cup or so fresh parsley or spinach (measure on the heavy side — I usually grab a large handful that will barely pack into a 1 cup container)
- water filled to the 32 oz. level
- 1 cup ice
Add all ingredients to blender and blend til smooth. Pour into glasses or over ice in on-the-go water bottles. Enjoy!
